How would you freshen up a Nintendo franchise for the next gen?

It looks horrible, imo. Anyway, isn't there enough games in modern or futuristic times?

But anyway, that wasn't why I was commenting. It wasn't thought by Nintendo. It was an April's Fool prank, if I remember correctly.

Aw, that would suck if true.  Although it would make sense for Nintendo to never consider something that fresh. 

I wish they could make two versions of Zelda, one that would appease people by keeping everything the same, and one every once and a while that mizes stuff up.  This could work if Nintendo was very careful.  Meh...
