Guess what, The HD graphics novelty have worn off too...

Hell yeah. It's shown to be eye candy, and that's it. Okay, expensive and time consuming eye candy, and that can even get in the way of content (FFXIII not having any towns).

Yep the HD graphics/consoles appeal have worn off, even if the 360, and HD console, is the only system up YoY, while matching it's previous year's price.

Come on people, everyone isn't going to like everything. It's just their take, they're allowed to have that.

Um, the 360 just proves the system got better sales than last year. You can't just assume that means HD graphics have more appeal, just because the system happens to have that. Last I checked, the sales shot up after the redesign, a redesign which is more reliable than the old one. That kind of says that reliability in hardware is appealing, not the graphics.

Whatever you want to call it, the system is on the right side of things. And again, I'm not sure why some of you personalize this so much. Not everyone is going to always put the Wii in a positive light, just like any other console.

I wasn't calling on his comments, just agreeing that HD graphics are just as much of a novelty as motion controls supposedly are. If you paid attention to the full context of what I posted, you would realize that.

And the 360 had better have been on the right side by now, since it was on the wrong side for too long.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
