He's hardly a hero. Anybody could yell at old ladies that have a stupid cause. In fact... a lot of people do with nothing accomplished. They were no real threat and should just be ignored. Hopefully they'll die in the near future and their kids will be a little more open minded.
These people are basically just sheep trying to earn a place in heaven. No point in being logical with them.
