And the "many people" you refer to are all on gaming message boards, which means they are 99% hardcore gamers, and this is a group that generally doesn't get along with the Wii. But this demographic is a small representation of the total people who play games. There are just the only ones you ever hear from since they are the only ones who frequent gaming message boards. There are probably plenty of people out there who play the Wii every day but don't exactly frequent message boards.
This skewed representation can also be seen in the reception of games lke Carnival games, Wii Fit, and Wii Sports. These are all games that have sold phenomenaly well, yet if you read the reviews and the general consencous among gaming journalists and message boards online, you would think these games were miserable games that bombed hard.
