this years data will have all 3 months of 360 slim and 2 months of $199 4gb slim also i believe theres some discounted models of $149-249-300 are in this data too and the halo reach launch
as it was pointed out in here and the likely scenario the gap between there shipments might be in the 300-700k range in 360s favour thats far off from that 1.1M
so in conclusion if i was a MS fan i would be a bit disappointed if there gap is below 1M considering all the 360 had during these months

It didn't have a much anticipated $100 price cut either BHR, and i'd wait for the figures if I were you, what if shited last september ending Q is irrelevent when predicting what it'll do this year.

thats all it had though and it was on record for just sept even if 360 didnt get a price cut during this time and wont get one this holiday season theres no denying that its relaunch was just as big as sonys slim last year

of course there is a chance, I don't think that'll happen, but there is always that chance. 2.5 PS3's shipped and 3.5 mill 360 shipped.
VGChartz have the sold different at around 1 million, so why are you acting as if 1.1 million is some crazy number?

VGC has 360 outselling PS3 by about 830k for Q3.
