We shouldn't dream of harming legendary film makers like George Lucas.

To me he was only legendary until he made the prequels

what do i want to see?

i want it to be about 20-30 years after the original trilogy.

after the end of the empire and the absence of the Jedi, there is still an ongoing power struggle between several fractions, one of them, the former rebels are is headed by princess Leiah, and Han Solo who obviously stayed together, trying to unite the federation into a peaceful society again, the trade federation trying to take control themselves, and the remnants of the empire secretly working on some kind of secret super weapon (NOT a death star).

Luke skywalker has disappeared a long time ago during his search for the source of the force, and Han and Leiahs son or daughter are looking for him.

if i think long enough i might even come up with a decent plot, but i would love it to have a "lord of the rings" feeling to it (and i don't mean something like a mission to throw Darth Vaders lightsaber into a black hole) like several fractions gathering their forces getting ready for an epic war, and in the middle small groups of individuals doing their part, turning the tide.
