All I have to say is, Zelda: OOT

Best game ever. This gen's games dont even come close.

Fixed.

Agreed! This gen is mediocre at best

What's mediocre about it?

The quality of the titles, and the fact that most of the games are full of bugs because developers dont take their time to make a good game, instead they rush them to make more money. Also, no revolutionary game was released. They are all clones... All I saw was Rockstar clones, tomb raider - prince of persia clones and shoot em ups. Even great games like Oblivion and Heavy Rain were based on something else.

This gen has nothing to offer .

You know many of the games in previous gens were based on previous ideas as well, correct? There are plenty of quality games this gen, (on all 3 consoles) even if they don't reach your expectations.

Yes, Oblivion was based on past ideas, but succeeded where previous games didn't. Doesn't make it mediocre. HEAVY RAIN did things no other game has ever done before, which was quite revolutionary. No game plays like it, so you're wrong there.

Don't know what you expected from this gen, but calling games mediocre (or saying it has nothing to offer) just because they are similar to games in the past, is irrational if you ask me.

Hate to burst your bubble but Heavy Rain wasn't revolutionary at all...

Indigo Prophesy was first to do what Heavy Rain did... thing is nobody knew about Indigo Prophesy because nobody bought it or liked that style of game-play which sucks. But just letting you know Heavy Rain was not the first of it's kind, but it's ok anyone could've made that mistake since the genre (movie-game genre as people called it) that Heavy Rain is extremely niche, like-wise it's amount games (2 games?).

Indigo Prophecy laid a foundation for HEAVY RAIN, yes, but HEAVY RAIN still did things that Indigo couldn't dream of, motion control for instance (and this is without the Move controller). Forget plenty of other things it did that no other game has.

I really don't want to turn this into a "HEAVY RAIN wasn't revolutionary" debate. It'll veer too far off topic and I would be here all day picking it apart, so let's just agree to disagree on it.

And yeah, no bubble bursted, I'm afraid.

I thought motion controls was done first by Nintendo and Sega ages ago... w/e I don't know how you see Heavy Rain as revolutionary but we don't have to talk about it.

All gaming systems, consoles/PC, have thier perks... why fight over preferences? I like Coke and you like Pepsi, that's it, let's not fight over which toy we like best cause that's what they are. Is someone's preference in a toy important or is the relationship between you and your neighbor more important? Answer is obvious, but THE most important thing is your relationship with God almighty. God Bless you in Jesus's name.

I can communicate without talking... I can send a loved one money without actually sending money... and I can commit theft without the product disappearing, the point of theft is the point of theft not one of it's possible symptoms which is the product dissappearing. The thief wants to gain something without paying for it, that's the point of theft, the thief doesn't have to care or anybody else has to care if the product dissappears. The product dissappearing is just a possible symptom of theft. Gifts are sacrfices, in order to give a gift, it has to be a genuine sacrfice/gift, meaning a copy of the game isn't still in your PC. Piracy is theft and/or being a culprit of theft.
