Well he had less information before, which he found positive. The next round didn't sit well with him the more he thought about it.
But his analysis is just based on the information now. He also mentions hope for the Wii, in that Iwata is now making contingency plans instead of just assuming it would work out, as in what they were doing before the Wii launched. If Nintendo applies that to the 3DS (which means more games of the kind that have been shown to sell best), I think Malstrom will be pleased about that.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
