As of late, Nintendo and Apple have a very similar path it seems.
DS and Wii have done with video game consoles what apple has been doing with computers and electronics for the last 10 years. Made them idiot proof and approachable for people not as hardcore involved in to technology...and made them the cool "it product" of the industry.
Also Nintendo are slowly moving towards the Apple motto of "If its 12 months old its outdated"...as we have seen 4 different DS versions in 5 years.
Perhaps its best if those 2 start canibalizing each others marketshare...Come on nintendo, give us a phone function to 3DS!
