Haven't had a chance to try it solo yet.
I too enjoyed Mario Party 8. I loved the way the different boards had completely different game mechanics to win or advance. Wii Party has a mix of Mario Party style board gaming (though it moves much faster) and some innovative party modes. Hiding your remotes in one mode adds a whole new level to the interactivity between the players and the game. I can't wait to play that mode drunk with other adults.
