Nintendo's already done the equivalent of Sony's "HD Classics", only with N64 games, and they sold them digitally and individually on the Virtual Console. The games are uprendered at 480p, and textures are smoothed accordingly.
And they also had their New Play Control! line of GameCube reissues, reworking GC games for Wii controls for budget prices.
