In regards to software sales, what are the combined sales for Heavy Rain, Ruse, Tiger Woods, Resident Evil, Sports Champions, Eyepet, Tumble, Echochrome 2, and all the other recently released Move games?

Dunno them all but according to both NPD and Charttrack, Eyepet was the top selling Move standalone game, and it did 30k US and 38k UK.  Not exactly encouraging for a peripheral that's shipped 2.5m in the west...

I thought SC was the highest selling Move title in the UK in the last few weeks?  It's no suprise that Eyepet was a bigger seller than SC in the US if bundled copies are excluded.

So now we know that Sony have sold(/shipped) 2.5M Move controllers, exceeding most peoples expectations, we've moved onto saying software sold(but not counting previously released games that have been patched, and without knowing how many copies of Move games on PSN have been sold) is the new barometer for success?

SC likely was, but only including bundles.  I was talking unbundled for both UK and US.

And I'm not "moving on", I just giving out an actual "sold" figure we have for comparison.  I'm also curious how much Eyepet shipped, could make for an interesting comparison.

It's worth remembering the decent EyePet install base prior to Move.  Part of what made me try Move was I already had the camera due to EyePet.  That meant it was a fairly inexpensive single Wand purchase to try it out.  I've got 2 Wands and a Navi now, but they entry price was low.

Given the Move edition of Eyepet is way better I'd say in Europe a fair number of EyePet owners must have purchased at least 1 Wand - and I think at Move launch there was over 500K Eyepet install base in Europe.

The existing install base for Eyepet, Heavy Rain and RE5:Gold would easily have helped Move have a good launch I think.

It seems clear that any shortages are around the Move itself rather than the Bundle, which makes me more sure this is correct.  I'd guess at launch Sony had too many bundles in place and not enough standalone Moves.  I understand most retail allocations had more bundles than single controllers.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
