Reading the numbers on VGChartz its hard not to think poorly about WiiParty and judge Nintendo. But not everything is as it seems in most cases. WiiParty uses Mii's where as Nintendo used Mario in their past party game collections. So was switching from MarioParty to WiiParty a smart decision?
If you've played WiiParty what do you think does it match MarioParty quality? Is the game more fun then past Mario Party titles?
Today I openned my Nintendo Power to see an ad for Hudson developed Oops Prank Party and realized that without Mario Party Hudson has created their own similiar franchise. It got me thinking did Nintendo strain relations with Hudson when they dropped Mario Party in favour of WiiParty?
Was it smart for Nintendo to ditch MarioParty and go a new route with WiiParty?
