Oh, typical Leo-J

Sony SHIPPED that amount.  Sold to consumers is another story entirely.  I think MS expects to sell through to consumers that many Kinects.

Another thing, Sony doesn't say what they are referencing in that number but it likely combines Move Controllers, Nav Controllers, Move Bundles, etc all into that.  Kinect is a 1 purchase deal while to get the full Move experience people will have to purchase up to 3 extra controller devices, drastically skewing that comparison.

So for total hardware sold counting secondary controllers, yes Move may outsell Kinect for 2010.  As far as unique users of the devices, Kinect will win that hands down and with it being sold out pretty much everywhere, I expect Kinect to sell every unit that is able to be produced and easily make the 3-4 million goal and then some.

Sony SOLD that amount.  Their PS3 customers, who they sell to, are retailers.  I would hazard a guess that MS also mean sold to retailers.

BS.  What is this crap people keep coming out with that you need all these extra controllers for "the full Move experience"?  You need one, yes ONE, Move controller.

Ah OK, I've asked this a few times and nobody has answered me yet, but it looks like you know.  How many units are MS shipping for launch?
