Anyway... did nobody notice what i said???

The wii in 2010 is now actually BEHIND wii in 2007.  Thats amazing.

You said it twice.

And now what Nintendo can do? Price cut? Redesign? Wii HD 2.0?

Maybe Nintendo does nothing.

Price cut to $150, include Remote Plus, maybe substitute Sports Resort for Sports although since Sports isn't sold separately in most markets, I really don't think it even matters whether they continue to give it away. Maybe drop Sports Resort as a part of the bundle instead.

Unless a redesign saves Nintendo a significant amount on manufacturing costs (seems unlikely as it started as a reduced cost hardware package) I don't see any reason for a product refresh; just limited edition bundles and colors.

Also at this stage in the generation, any significant hardware upgrades (Wii 1.5 HD) would be well enough to just roll into the Wii's successor in 2012. It seems doubtful that consumer demand for a more expensive Wii SKU is worth developing.

A $150 Wii should be a decent draw to keep numbers afloat, but anything else is unlikely to yield significant YoY increases.

2011 will see Nintendo focus on the 3DS regardless.
