When I first got my Wii, I expected way more original IPs or sequels rather than Ports. In fact I didn't think there would be such need for ports from PS2 or Gamecube that much at all. This was back in 2008 when I didn't have knowlegde on how the VG industry worked or had any knowledge of the VG Industry. All I ever did was just play games. So no I didn't expect PS2 ports at all.
And lol at someone who said Kingdom Hearts and Metal Gear Solid Ports for Wii...
