Most have already bought the Wii.

Since PS2 sold about 23 millions there I have to guess that there are at least 23 million gamers in Japan, so the Wii hasn't sold even half of what it can.

You forgot that PS2 had several model and Wii not.

Many of these 23M are just switch to new models.
