360 can still have a price cut next year, which can give them an advatage, but what makes you think sony wont introduce a price cut? componenets WILL get cheaper for sony, and even though they may not break even, i think they will still reduce a price to stay competitive, and with cheaper production costs, they may still be able to get away with it. i really thought the 360 would nail the ps3 down this year, but it didnt and i think ms will suffer because of this. |
If sony NEVER wants to even come close to making a profit then they will cut price, they will also seen as a desperate company by having 3 price cuts in 1.5 years, which is unheard of. 360 can nail the ps3 when its price is cut by 200 bucks and 360 by 50 at most. If however 360 gets a nice huge pricecut and ps3 doesnt we may see the tables turn easy
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
