Then there's the fact that Nintendo consoles typicially get the largest holiday boosts (even Gamecube got major boosts during the holiday), and Donkey Kong is going to be huge as well. |
Granted, but have they ever ran in the past against a $500 million marketing campaign during the holidays ? (not to mention the tons of free hype Kinect will get in the general press due to that campaign). That's what makes me question what will happen this year's season, not all the Wii IZ Doooommez naysayers. The WIi is clearly not doomed, it will still sell fine during the holidays, but I have my doubts if anything will be able to surpass the Kinect juggernaut campagin.
