Well they aren't wasting billions launching a new console. So spending $500 million to rebrand their current profitable console doesn't seem crazy.
As a 360 fan I'm happy about this. I don't look forward to buying a new machine and this tells me they are going to prolong the 360's life. Maybe get 10 years out of it.
