Yea, some news headlines like the "PS3 Firmware 3.50 disables third party devices" are just wrong and needlessly sensational. That and other ones really left a bad aftertaste in my mouth..
The "person xyz said - insert flashy quote (out of context) here" news feel quite superfluous to me as well..
