Neilson can tell me by noon the next day how tv shows made out from the night before, I can find out on Sunday how well the box office did fri thru sunday. It's similiar for music and book charts too. Even Japan's Media Create can give us weekly sales figure within four days of a week ending. Why does NPD take 20 days to give us monthly sales? It has to be the absolute worst sales charts system for any industry or country in the world. And the American video market is worth way too much to put up with that. I'm sorry but please tell me a better way is coming.
It's called a monopoly. And sadly, I don't see it changing anytime soon.
