The game is looking amazing.  The economic system seems to have real depth and meaning, without being too daunting or necessary to micromanage.

Looks like there definitely won't be such an abundance of money in this game ala Fable II, and you will actually need to spend money to access certain areas.

Apparently at one point a man asks for money to restore the bridge to Fable II's gypsy camp, and if you don't give it to him you don't get over there.  The idea is he wants to do it as a monument to the Fable II hero.  There is meant to be cool things to do in there.
