Evidences for what? All users here knew that the PS3 was undertracked.
NPD, Charts in Europe, financial reports, PR, etc confirmed this.
Before these adjustmens there was the following scenario:
PS3 sold: 36M
PS3 shipped: 38.1M
Over 2M on shelves.
Now there was the new scenario:
PS3 sold: 36.6M
PS3 shipped: 38.1M
1.5M on shelves... much more realistic and accurate.
All data from end of June (last financial report).
