I don't know why he was marrying her, but sexual orientation reffers to who you are attracted to. Maybe they were doing that because they were friends and they wanted a "normal" (such an insulting use of the word) life. Maybe they were bi and not gay. I have no ideea why they were gonna do that. However, that chick was a real b***h for dumping the guy after his accident. What happened to him afterwards?
As for me lying, what do I have to gain from lying? I'm fighting for a lost cause after all and I'm totally out gunned. Making stuff up would just ruin my credibility and I am not for that. I talk from my own experiances I don't really care if you don't believe me. Even other people frrom Canada have commented here, and they say pretty much the opposite of what you say. Either you're lying, living in an alternate universe, or you're crazy/paranoid and have a weird pperception of reality. I am against the act of having sex with someone of the same sex. Sex is a choice being black is not, being brown is not being white is not. Why shouldn't gay people have sex with the people they like? Why should they foce themselves to be staright, to be something against who they are? Could you have sex with another guy? How would you feel if you were pushed into marrying a guy and having sex with him? The only thing that matters to me is that I am not forced or pushed to do something against my religious beliefs. That my pastors and my belief that homosexuality is a sin be respected. Sorry, a belief like "homosexuality is a sin" cannot be respected, the same way a racist belief, or a mysoginistic belief can't be respected. You're free to hold it, but it's simply a wrong and hateful belief, so don't be upset that other people call you on it. Plus, how many beleifs must be tolerated due to religious reasons? Will we start tolerating human sacrifices again? |
His family is taking care of him as far as I know. He used to be my mom's neighbour. I feel so sorry for him I would hate to be a parapalygic. Can anything worse really happen to a person? Really sad, and whats almost as bad is the driver of his car was drunk and speeding. Luckily no one died but that man is going to have to live the rest of his life paralyzed because one idiot descided it was okay to drink and drive.
Canada is a big country and their are lots of different provinces and people in this country. heck the country doesn't even have a single language. I just assumed based on my experiances that the rest of Canada was probubly similiar. Am I living in an alternate reality? Well I was born and raised here in this reality I understand the US is alot different and I guess based on the comments from Quebec and other people from Canada the whole country is obviously not as forward thinking as my school was. But I stick by what I have said I'm not lying and have nothing to gain from doing so.
Could I have sex with another guy, thats a trick question if I say yes you'll say I'm gay if I say no you'll say I'm a hypocrit. So I won't answer the question, but considering how much I value my faith you should be able to come to the conclusion yourself.
Human sacrafices are a thing of the past. Look at it this way alot of people are trying to legalize euthonasia, whats the difference? I believe suicide is wrong and a sin but if someone chooses to terminate their life isn't that their decision? (Oh boy I just opened a huge can of worms)
If you continue to monitor my beliefs in this board on other issues I'm sure you will find I am fairly liberal and a very moderate Christian. Anyways I'm going to be up North probubly this week and their is only dial up , up their so chances of me responding further in this thread is unlikely. I look forward to chatting with you in other topics and discussions upon my arrival home.
