Even a wii Hd won't do it. because it must be more powerfull than the current one to support the same HD output of the PS360... Will be likely a new system
Also even if there was a wii HD as powerfull as the PS360 it won't have more support from the 3rd party software as currently because they wil find a new excuse: the wiimote as not as much as button as the HD controller. so they can't port games as they cant use same control scheme.
One point also everybody forget is that even if the wii is down hill, it stills sells more this year than the other console. Thos bad year for the wii will be better than the best year for the other console.
But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.
