Interesting (and a bit disappointing for a Civ fan like me). I thought a new iteration in one of the most famous and acclaimed PC franchises - with several years between main entries - would sell way more in its first weeks. Slow burner or flop? Time will tell.

which implies that they are happy that the gamers with the "superior" consoles and taste "dominate" the market at the moment, but at the same time there are yearly FIFA/PES/NBA sequels among the bestselling HD games of the week, while a more original and acclaimed HD development like Enslaved sells only a few thousand more copies in its 1st week on the market than COD: MW2 in its 48th.
