I can't see them having good legs; the sales numbers were probably inevitable due to October being by far the most crowded month this holiday with other bigger games just around the corner. Neither of them are going to be million sellers and even getting to 500K might be hard.

I think you're wrong. Look at Mirror's Edge for example.

360 week 1: 85,307

PS3 week 1: 65,544

And it had legs for a while after that (Holidays) and now it's above 1 million on 360 and it might reach 1 million on PS3 someday.

Now look at Castlevania.

360 week 1: 67,126

PS3 week 1: 81,077

I'm sure it will reach 1 million on at least one console. Plus it was better received than Mirror's Edge.

Mirror's Edge was an outright bizarre case because I can't remember any instance since or before it where that happened. But let's face facts here, just because it happened for ONE game doesn't mean it's somehow gonna happen for these two. Plus Mirror's Edge had a legitimately unique hook while Lords of Shadow and Enslaved are both highly derivative.

Castlevania will do much better than Mirror's Edge in Japan, which should help.

I'm pretty sure it will reach one million, especially on PS3.
