I think you're wrong. Look at Mirror's Edge for example.

PS3 week 1: 65,544

And it had legs for a while after that (Holidays) and now it's above 1 million on 360 and it might reach 1 million on PS3 someday.

 

Now look at Castlevania.

360 week 1: 67,126

PS3 week 1: 81,077

I'm sure it will reach 1 million on at least one console. Plus it was better received than Mirror's Edge.

Not sayign you are wrong, but mirrors edge was cut down to 29.99 in 3 months and is like 9.99 now at most stores.
