Your false dichotomy is, not surprisingly, dead wrong. The most likely explanation for more male than female friends is that their hobbies are ones that tend to be dominated by men. What is surprising here is that so many people in this very thread would probably kill to get a girlfriend who is into video games, but ironically would label them as either a whore of one kind or another. Without exception every girl I know into video games has more male friends than not, including the one I am now engaged to.
PS. No offense to anyone in this thread, but any guy who uses words like "slut" or "whore" to a girls face is just dumb. You want sex yeah? With a vagina having creature of the same species? Well, unless that girl puts out then you are stuck in line at the spank bank. The more often you insult and demean a woman for expressing, or enjoying her sexuality the more likely she is to repress it, especially around you. Just something to think about.
