Why the hell would you hate people in the military?  Thats just so so very sad.

I hate the military. By extension I hate the people who join the military.

But why would you hate people sworn to protect you?

Because most of the conflicts are unnecessary and caused by politicians, and don't have people's interests in mind. There hasn't been a conflict worth fighting in since WWII. I don't see how I am "protected" by soldiers who are fithing in Iraq. Not to mention that conflicts of the past were fueld by silly things like nationalism and religion.  And when I say I hate the military, I'm reffering to the military in general (the military in every country), not just my country's military.

Well the way you say it means you should hate politicians, not the military and especially not the people who give their lives for their country.
