Next you should try to get a hold of Treyarch and address a similar "Is this really on Wii too?" game: Black Ops.

The utter media blackout on that game has me stymied. We haven't seen image one.

Just like every other CoD on Wii. The game keeps selling decent, so why change things now?

No WMP for Star Wars? That's all I needed to know...

Although their reason is decent (all the action would make button pressing more intuitive for the most part). Better have that for a dueling game, though.

Can't believe I never noticed this comment. Yeah definitely what you said. I think button pressing will be the better choice simply because there's SO much action going on in this. Almost too much for 1:1 motion. I'd be flailing around inaccurately because of so many things going on.

That's what I find the greatest weakness of Red Steel 2 is.

So a lightsaber duel game would be best with the motion plus... plus a lightsaber blade Wiimote attachment for the collector's edition (but one that would not interfere with the pointer, as M Plus needs that).

Guess I can't question your own experience with Red Steel 2...but I thought the combat was fantastic, made possible by the lock on system. Certainly without the lock on RS2 would have been a mess.

The swordplay is a bit too fast. It's being designed as if you still had to press buttons, and the square cube law makes it clear most people can't move that fast and still be accurate, or avoid repetitive motion injuries.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
