Action-RTS I guess, going by the article. That's probably the best description, but you can go look up a few videos on youtube, that's probably the easiest way for seeing what the game is like.

It's an Action-RPG, not a strategy game.

I don't know what to call it anyway, the article just called it an action-RTS. It's a pretty unique setup after all.
