Highly likely to be 3DS, given the direction they're pitching this game's appeal, plus 3D F-Zero would be trippy as all hell, and its a handheld with an analogue stick finally (given that this game couldn't possibly appear on PSP)
But as always with F-Zero, it's an issue of who will take the burden on. Since EAD dropped the franchise, it's been a question of finding someone available to do it, much like StarFox
