Sounds good... probably around 600k first week, 4 million lifetime.

I can't see it outselling the original in the UK, since it was already so big (and a sequel seems redundant), but I'm not sure if it reached its full potential in other regions. We'll see

Redundant? I don't think so at all, being a dance game means that the content is the music, and that means it can be expanded upon very easily. IMO, this is the reason Guitar Hero was able to grow with each sequel until a peak of 12 million with GH3.

Well, Guitar Hero did have the whole guitar thing for it, though. The people who bought the first game (along with the Guitar) can use their guitar for the next game. (okay, I have no clue how that affected sales)

Still, its popularity in the UK was so huge, it's hard to see it going anywhere but down. Also, JD2 still competes with the original for new buyers, so the game needs some nice improvements or a better track list...

I'd probably revise to 5 million, though, since (after looking) it does seem they did the latter - more tracks, new modes
