Can anyone help me with the total software numbers confusion?

First row is the total software for the worldwide weekly chart of 02nd October

Second row is when i went to Data analysis>Software totals and added up all the console specific pages

Third row is from the Data analysis>Hardware totals>Software page

hard to say.

I can only tell you that the weekly charts only include the software sales of games that charted in it (even if it isn't in the top 200) However there are games where we have total sales for one region, but when you look at the game's page you'll see that we don't have any weekly data in that region.

I compared the second and third row by region and it looks like most of the difference is in EMEAA. Can't say why though. Probably the one with the highest numbers is the most accurate, but I've no idea where we got the data from.

So take the 2nd or 3rd row.

Thanks for clearing some of it up for me! But i still can't quite understand why they don't just add the total software to the weekly charts so we will have 1 place for all software without having multiple totals in different locations with zero understanding of why
