As for the HDD, if you partition the first 300 GB of the drive, it is faster than a Velociraptor 10000 rpm drive.

I'm not really worried about the PSU, because I can replace that part. Imagine I have the best PSU ever built.

As for GPU, let's say  a GTX480.

I have a few questions

1. Can I change the CPU in a motherboard after I've installed it?

2. Is that a cheap/crappy Motherboard? Are there any major features missing besides a second PCIE slot?

I would add 2 aftermarket fans. The only issue i can see with that case is that it might be a tad too narrow to fit a megalarge aftermarket CPU cooler, but it should be plenty big enough for any GPU?

Money isn't really an issue, but that said, I won't want to blow out the bank account. I want some items that are not "best of the best" but "best value for your money towards the high end of the spectrum" stuff.
