I disagree on those two being the only problems. Yes, it's great to hear that they fixed those issues in Super Scribblenauts because they did cause decent levels of frustration in the original, but that wasn't all that held the game back. Generally, the objectives in each level were far too limiting in terms of creativity (not to mention were fairly boring anyway), and you could really just solve almost every one of them with the same set of items regardless.
If they corrected those problems as well, then Super Scribblenauts has a very good chance of being the DS game of the year.
