Don't you hate copy-protected save files? is there a way to copy them?

Really?  well , thank goodnesss i have the FAT ones, i never knew this.

you can re-format the the NTSF ones in windows if the drive came preformatted... or linux, or mac(can't say for sure, I don't use mac). It will wipe his files though.
