It's in the Bible and therefore it is Christianity. You can't "pick and choose" what's in the Bible to say what defines your religion.
The Bible says all those things in it, but just because you interpret those as "silly" or even "bad", they are a perversion of the religion? Those same principles share the same amount of text in the Bible as "honour thy mother and father", "no idol worship", and the understood principle of "treat others as you would yourself". They get the same amount of writing as all of those "good" things, so why are they a perversion of the Bible? Because it's one aspect you don't like?
You follow the logic of "oh, that part shouldn't be taken literally, that's just a metaphor" to try and rationalize why you only believe some aspects of the Bible, and not all of them
