summer 2008 Wiis will become available. I don't think it will ever hit 100% availability (ie, the point where most shops gets their next shipment before the previous shipment runs out), but you won't have to get up early to buy one. On the other hand, you won't be able to walk into any game store at any time and buy a Wii.
I hope people think ahead and do their Christmas shopping early, because there will be sellouts in Christmas 2008 as well. In summer 2009 the Wii will be available, and should not be completely sold out again.
