There are times when succinctness alone cannot communicate everything that's necessary, and implications have to be done away with for the sake of clarity. More, succinctness will give way to hugeness of form when combined with a wealth of information being conveyed, which is a large part of what's happening here. THat information tends to be necessary in proving a point in discussions liek this one: without examples of what you mean, statements are more or less meaningless.
