If IGN is right they are somewhere at level of 200 euro smartphone but in two-three years time those 200 euro smartphones will have specs of current top of line phones like iphone 4 and Galaxy S while Nintendo will be selling same 3DS. And in 6 years time 3DS will compare to top of line smartphone like current DS to Galaxy S. |
What do you expect? A re-release every six months that makes the previous ones obsolete to new games? There's no way they can "future-proof" the thing. Specially a handheld. Do you want it to compare to pc graphics? Or be even better, so it can keep up with pc graphics as they go up on the next 6 years? That's kind of, you know, impossible :P
