The fact that people can argue against this or think it's somehow wrong blows my mind. Why the hell would you not want Nintendo to improve their online strategy? It doesn't necessarily mean that local multiplayer will be hurt by it, it just means nintendo can have better online multiplayer in their games as well as getting a lot more third party support. This means that Nintendo gets more royalties and bigger system sales whilst games gain access to a larger library of games. It's win all round.
