I don't see how Kinect can ever fail, even if it performs much worse than people expect and it sales comparable to Playstation Move or even less(again i don't see this happening), it will still boost X360 and it will still boost software. And with a $150 price tag Microsoft isn't losing any money either, at most the high marketing costs will have been a waste at first.
