Well Donkey Kong used to be a very big franchise, on the GameCube however the franchise did not fare so well. The Wiimake of Jungle Beat didn't do much better on the Wii and Barrel Blast wasn't all that big either.
DK:JB sold 30,000 openning month. I doubt it will do that bad.
