PES 2011 is a better game in my openion. FIFA 11 is same as FiFA 10 with little changes. PES is more fun and gives the aaaahhhh and ewwwwwwwww which FIFA will never do.

so desperate, so untrue

Oh behave yourself; you don't have to agree that PES is the better game but you can't deny that FIFA11 is practically the same as FIFA 10 with minor changes, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Personally, I've always been a bigger fan of Pro Evo and PES 2011 looks to finally be the game loyal fans have been waiting for.

Anyway, fantastic sales for EA; Fifa is one of the few sports games they produce that actually delivers a decent experience. Will be interesting to see how PES performs this year in comparison; obviously it won't sell as well but early reviews have been very positive.

that's the proof. You haven't played FIFA 11, because the gameplay changes this year are MASSIVE.

Biggest update of a football game I've ever experienced.

No I definitely have played the game, and I thoroughly disagree that there are massive changes. The game plays pretty much the same as FIFA 10 with subtle differences, and a fair amount of reviews have commented on how the changes made this year are subtle, not massive.

"Closing Comments
FIFA 11 doesn’t redefine the football game, nor does it bring with it bold or surprising ways to play. What it does, however, is refine an already superlative game, taking nearly every aspect and polishing it to help create a whole that’s notably superior to its predecessors. It’s excellence, not innovation, that wins out, and that’s surely no bad thing; for the next twelve months at least this is likely to be the best football experience available, and FIFA’s looking like retaining its crown in convincing fashion."
IGN UK Ratings for FIFA Soccer 11 (PS3)
RatingDescription
9.5 Gameplay
It's FIFA refined, with myriad tweaks helping ensure it improves on its predecessor.

hundreds of improvements that dramatically changes the whole gameplay, thanks to Personality Plus.
Every player plays completely different, every animation especially the goal celebrations are so much more realistic and dynamic. Crossing and tackling system has been totally overhauled.

FIFA 10 plays like an arcade football game, while FIFA 11 plays like a simulation.

The gameplay changes between FIFA 08 to 09 and to 10 were minimal, so were the changes between PES 2008 to 2009 to 2010 to 2011.

So if you really didn't notice the differences I won't even bother to talk to you, because you have apparently no idea about football games.

I never denied there were changes, there are LOTS of LITTLE changes, that was the point I was making; there is very little that has been drastically changed. And if you're going to suggest the differences PES 2010 and 2011 are minimal then it would appear YOU have no idea about football games.

I didnt see much differences between FIFA 10 and FIFA 11, the learning curve is setting in a straight line between 10 and 11.  I have played FIFA a few times, it gets really boring and repatative. It cant generate the ewww and ahaaa that PES gives.
