Rebirth? Doesn't that suggest a death somewhere? I don't think PC gaming ever died.
Anyway, no. As awesome as 3D is the costs of a decent graphics card and the PC setup will hold it back some. Maybe in a couple of years, but I don't think many except the enthusiasts will bother. Plus, the primary 3D setup being pushed on PC is limited to Nvidia. You won't have it become big if it's tied to a single manufacturer.
