You shall NEVER trust Electronic Arts in developing a good game. At the first glance of the EA logo on the box you should start to think "ok, this is gonna suck"

That being said, there are 3rd party games that are worth, is just that the Wii is the PSOne/PS2 of this generation: It's going to have a LOT of crap cheap software. But don't doubt it's gonna have some classics and masterpieces. It even has the best reviewed game of the last 9 years.

That's not ENTIRELY true, remember Maxis is owned by EA and they have an outstanding track record, but from what I have read, EA as a publisher doesn't really push themselves on Maxis.

So in general: EA published games be warry, unless it was developed by Maxis.

And I think we can all agree that rushed yearly sport games by EA need to canned (for quality reasons, though people still buy Madden like crazy, for some reason...)

I know, that's why I said developing ;)

EA also has published Half-Life 2, Orange Box, Crysis, and others... but they are not developed by them.
