Pachter: Nintendo needs a new console to get in on the multiplayer market

They have always been more interested in local multiplayer, which I think is smart. You could say that, while Microsoft and Sony have a strong foothold on the online audience, Nintendo has just as strong a foothold on the local multiplayer audience.
